No one likes complicated terms and conditions but sometimes it's best to have a few simple things written down so that we (Baking Stash) and you both know what is what, who is responsible for what and what happens if things don't go quite as planned.
We'll try our best to make our terms and conditions as simple and clear as possible so please read carefully and make sure you understand them before ordering any products from us.
These terms and conditions cover all communication between us, either by website, phone or email and any orders placed via our website or over the phone.
These terms and conditions might change from time to time so please check for the most up to date version on every visit but feel to save or print a copy for your personal reference if need be. We might also change, remove or vary any page of this website and/or any service provided by Baking Stash without any notice.
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits your legal or statutory rights.
No one likes their hard work being copied or stolen. The intellectual property of any and all information provided through this website remains the property of Baking Stash or it's licensors and are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world.
We're happy for you to print and store physical copies of any part of this website for personal use only. We don't allow for any content on our website or literature to be reproduced, published, manipulated or distributed in connection with any business or commercial enterprise.
Any information or images you provide to us via the website will be treated as non proprietary and non confidential. We have the right to use such information and images as we deem fit.
We also show names, products, images and logos of third party brands, manufacturers and suppliers. The copyrights belong to their respective owners and you must contact them before attempting to reuse any such images.
Descriptions, Images and Website Content
We're only human, everyone can make mistakes. If there are any mistakes or errors on our website please accept our humblest apologies. If you see any mistakes or errors on our website please let us know via the contact us form or email us to let us know so we can fix things as soon as possible.
We try to make sure all measurements and sizes are as accurate as possible but please take them as approximate measurements.
Images are to the best of our knowledge a fair reflection of the product you are browsing. We cannot guarantee they exactly replicate the appearance or colours of the product in question as their may be manufacturing variations. It may also be the colours don't appear correctly due to the screen you're viewing this website on and it's calibration so please bear this in mind.
All products are labelled in line with UK and EU regulations. If you are unsure of any ingredients or would like to know if a food product is suitable then please contact the manufacturer. Baking Stash do not provide guarantees if a food product is suitable for allergies or religious requirements as all information is provided by the manufacturer.
Sugarpaste colours and all products related to colouring sugar pastes cannot be guaranteed to be the exact shade shown on the website or on the product packaging. There are a number of factors after the manufacturing process which affects the colour of such products including storage temperature, humidity and general environmental factors. We also cannot guarantee mixing colours will have the intended outcome due to the colours used during manufacture, including during the manufacture of white sugarpaste.
All edible food products are stored in a hygienic environment at all times by Baking Stash.
We provide only brand new products direct from manufacturers and wholesalers and do not redistribute returned edible food products. We will only accept returns on edible food products where an item is supplied incorrectly or faulty.
Whilst we choose our couriers carefully, we cannot guarantee the hygiene or safety whilst your purchase is in transit. We will however ensure your order is well packaged in line with advise from the Food Safety Agency.
Terms of Sale
Not all products on our website will be suitable for commercial/business purposes. It is your responsibility to check that the product you are intending to purchase is suitable for your intended purpose. If you're planning to use our products for business purposes, please make sure you have the correct and appropriate insurance as we won't accept liability for any products not being fit for business purposes or any loss beyond the cost of the product itself.
You must be 18 years old to place an order with us. Please make sure you check manufacturer information to ensure your purchased item won't cause any kind of allergic reaction.
If something is priced incorrectly and we realise our error before despatching the order then we might cancel that part of the order or the entire order, even if you've received confirmation of your order and/or confirmation of your payment. We will make every effort to contact you if this is the case so please make sure all your contact information is up to date when placing your order. If we cancel your order we'll make sure we give you a full refund including any delivery charges as soon as possible. An order confirmation is purely a confirmation we have received your order, not a confirmation we have agreed to send the goods.
All prices listed in the non sterling (not GBP £) currency should be taken an approximate with the final amount in the non sterling currency being provided on the final payment page.
If we realise an item is out of stock once your order is placed we will contact you to offer you a solution. If you are unable to wait for an item to come back into stock, or if an item is out of stock for the foreseeable, we will offer you a full refund.
We can only offer sales after payment has been made and has cleared into our account. We do not offer any form of credit under any circumstances.
Paypal are our current payment processing provider They are a well known and well recognised brand enabling safety and peace of mind for both yourself as a customer and ourselves as a business.
PayPal currently accept Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express. We do not accept Diners Club cards, cash, cheque or bank transfer.

We try our best to price our products competitively.
We do not charge VAT as we are currently not VAT registered (not required to be). You will therefore be unable to claim back any VAT on purchases from Baking Stash. The prices we show for each product does not include delivery charges.
The currency shown on the website is an approximate conversion rate and is for information purposes only. The correct conversion amount will be shown during checkout.
Refunds are provided in Great British Pounds (GBP) and so depending on the conversion rate on the day of the refund, the resulting refund might be higher or lower than the original purchase amount.
Terms of Delivery
We will charge for orders which do not meet our Free Delivery threshold. These charges are generally based on weight but also take into account the packaging, cost of picking and packing as well as insurance costs. If you would like to know how much delivery will cost please go to the “Estimate Delivery Costs” section of the basket and complete all details to get an accurate cost of delivery.
The delivery time frames we give have been given to us by the delivery or courier companies we use. Generally we use Royal Mail but might use other third party services where appropriate.
Please make sure you provide the full and correct delivery address. Do not miss parts of the address of assuming the delivery person will know where to deliver to. As a minimum please ensure you provide the house name (where relevant), flat/door number, road name and postcode.
You will generally need to make sure someone is available to accept and sign for your delivery at the delivery address. If no one is available the delivery driver will either leave the parcel in a safe location, with a neighbour or return the item back to the depot for you to collect. Under these circumstances the driver will leave a card to inform you they have tried to deliver and what you need to do next. If you're not sure then please contact us and we will be more than happy to assist.
If you provide additional delivery instructions, we will print these on the packaging. We cannot guarantee the courier will adhere to these instructions and accept no responsibility for this.
Sometimes things might happen out of our control which means we can't deliver in the provided time frame, or at all. These include things like bad weather or incidents with our delivery companies. If this happens we will contact you as soon as possible to update you on a new delivery time frame or to let you know that we have to cancel the order and give you a full refund.
If an order is delayed because we are unable to despatch within our promised time frame then we will be happy to offer you a full refund. We are not liable for any financial losses as a result of any delays, whatever the circumstances of the delay might be.
Please contact us to let us know you haven't received your order so we can see what we can do. If an item hasn't arrived after ten working days from the date of despatch we will declare the order “lost in transit” and arrange a replacement or refund. We cannot declare an order “lost in transit” until the full ten working days have passed.
With respect to international orders we do not accept responsibility for any customs charges. Please allow up to 30 days from date of despatch. Please also note we cannot track your order once it has left the UK.
Terms of Click and Collect
Our click and collect service gives you the ability to pay for your purchase online and choose a location from where you can collect your purchase.
Click and collect may not be available on our website if the service is under maintenance as we rely on a number of third party systems to work together to make it work.
The collection location will hold your parcel for seven to ten working days at which point the parcel is returned to us. Under these circumstances we will process a full refund once the items have been received back at our warehouse.
We do not offer collection from our warehouse under any circumstances.
Recycling and Sustainability
We will try to use sustainable, environmentally friendly packaging and delivery materials wherever possible. We have no control over manufacturer packaging. If you have any suggestions for ways in which we can become more sustainable or environmentally friendly please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We encourage you to recycle wherever possible. Please enquire with your local council or search for your nearest recycling centre on www.recycle-more.co.uk.
When Things Go Wrong
If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied Baking Stash will be happy to refund the item without any question. In such cases we might require the item to be returned to us. If we require this we will pay the cost of first class return post, but this must be pre arranged with us. Failure to prearrange this will result in refusal to reimburse costs.
If you have simply changed your mind we will be happy to provide a refund in line with Distance Selling Regulations within 14 days from the day after you have received your order. We require all items to be brand new, unused and in its original packaging. You will be required to pay the cost of return postage.
In all instances please kindly make sure all products are packed properly for postage and always keep proof of postage.
If you have any complaints about any part of our website, service or products then please contact us directly in the first instance so we can have an opportunity to rectify the situation. You can do this via our website contact form or emailing email@example.com.
Charity Bake Sale
Whilst we love supporting charities, whatever the size or cause, we cannot vet or approve every bake sale we support. For this reason our bake sale posters only endorse the fact that we supported your bake sale event and not necessarily the charity itself. Baking stash reserves the right to promote your bake sale and also the charity you are supporting.
By downloading, printing and displaying Baking Stash bake sale posters you promise to show full honesty in the bake sale you are organising. You will not use the discount code in connection with any non-charity related baking. Baking Stash reserve the right to verify any information in relation to the bake sale you are organising or taking part in. Baking Stash are not responsible for any bake sale where there are any fraudulent, or illegal intentions and actions. Baking Stash provide posters and discount as is and cannot be held responsible for anything else. Bake sale organisers are fully responsible for their bake sale and waive any claims against Baking Stash.
Voucher/Discount Code Terms & Conditions
Voucher codes are only valid on http://www.bakingstash.com/
Voucher codes are generally only useable once per account. We reserve the right to cancel orders where we believe multiple accounts have been created to make use of voucher codes.
Voucher codes cannot be applied once an order has been paid for.
Some products may be excluded from voucher code promotions at our discretion. We reserve the right to end a promotion early, prior to any date presented on marketing materials or website.
